Jennifer Garner and Violet just going about their business may not be the most thrilling, but they certainly find ways to make the daily routine exciting for themselves. Yesterday the favorite momma/daughter duo kept it simple with a trip to Whole Foods and then to the park. They played some peek-a-boo and Violet rocked her toy cell phone around her neck. An afternoon at the grocery store and swings may have nothing on finding a maybe new pet kitty, but Violet's smile is still big as ever. CC warehouse has AC units stolen twice

CORPUS CHRISTI — Corpus Christi police are looking for persons who stole an air conditioning unit from the Plumber's Warehouse overnight on Wednesday and Thursday.

The four-ton AC unit was striped of the copper tubing and most of the parts overnight Wednesday and police were called to the store on 3210 Gollihar at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday. Police were back on the scene Thursday when a second unit of damaged in the same manner.

The damages are estimated at nearly $6000 for both units, which were the working units for the store.

NJ Senate approves abolishing death penalty

Four teenagers are accused in a robbery and assault of students near the Rowan University campus in Glassboro.

The case has some similarities to one in October, when Rowan sophomore Donald "Donnie" Farrell of Boonton was killed in a robbery attempt. But Bernie Weisenfeld, a spokesman for the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office, said investigators have determined that the cases are not connected.

Air conditioning unit sparks hotel fire

A heating and air conditioning unit sparked a fire Wednesday at a North Myrtle Beach hotel, said city public information officer, Nicole Aiello.

The fire occurred around 9:51 a.m. at Peppertree by the Sea, 305 South Ocean Blvd.

Two people were treated for injuries on the scene, and one was transported to Seacoast Medical Center.

Fire victim died of smoke inhalation, burns

An autopsy performed Wednesday determined that smoke inhalation and severe burns killed a man who died in a fire at his office late Monday, Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick said.

The fire occurred in a building in the 4000 block of West U.S. 501.

The victim's name is being withheld until his family, believed to live in Guatemala, is notified, Hendrick said.
