A scrub is an important accessory to your skin care routine that speeds up natures process to remove dead skin. The use of scrubs will make your skin look healthy and fresh, creams will penetrate better and make-up will lay well. Scrubs are made for your face to your feet. Be sure to use the scrub made for that part of the body you want to remove dead skin. Basicly, the thicker the skin(hands and feet), the coarser the scrub. There are two types of scrubs for your face. A daily scrub to use daily such as Clinique's 7 Day scrub cream, will have finer granules. A scrub to be used once or twice a week such as Booth's Green Apple scrub, has granules similar to sugar. Dry chapped lips are a problem this time of year and can benefit by a very fine scrub just for lips by Crabtree&Evelyn, use according to directions.
Failure Was an Option!
Voters wanted an immigration deal": A quick word on those polls MSM writers--e.g. Dan Balz--are using to suggest that the Senate thwarted the popular will in blocking "comprehensive immigration reform." I'd been puzzled myself by the consistent polls showing that a) the comprehensive bill itself was wildly unpopular, yet b) --and these are the polls emphasized by the MSM--the controversial "earned legalization" planks, when they are described to voters, win majority approval. But Mystery Pollster cleared it up for me. The key is the Gallup finding that only half of the public is paying much attention to the immigration debate. Those who are paying attention oppose the bill 30% to 11%, but 58 % "don't know enough to say." On this basis, Gallup editor-in-chief Frank Newport calls those who oppose the bill a "vociferous minority"--apparently believing that if only more voters paid attention they'd endorse the bill, because when they're given the questions describing various paths to citizenship for illegals who "have a job" and "pay back taxes," they mostly say yes.
Ross Garnaut says greenhouse gas targets to tackle climate change are ...
THE V8, bar fridge and dodgy air-conditioner could be things of the past as the man commissioned to review climate change policy urges MASSIVE cuts. Professor Ross Garnaut released his interim report from the Garnaut Climate Change Review in Adelaide today and warns Australia could "possibly be the biggest loser among developed nations". The report also states that Australia’s interest in strong global action stems from its "exceptional sensitivity to climate change", and its "exceptional opportunity to do well in a world of effective global mitigation". "We have many resources and skills that will allow us to convert strong global action into an economic opportunity," Professor Garnaut said. "We have a first-rate skills base in areas related to innovation, management and financial services.
Selma Blair Returns as Liz Sherman
SHH!: Why are you carrying a gun? Isn't the fire enough? Blair: You'd think so. Talk to Guillermo about that. And it's really embarrassing. Obviously, I wouldn't pull this out if it weren't completely rubber, but yeah, it's really embarrassing that I spend so much time in this movie holding this gun up and I'm just like, to Abe/Doug, next to me, I'm like, "Jesus Christ, don't I have fire for this?" It's just a lot of time in the background with my gun drawn, like "I'd just blow him up. I'd just blow him up!" But I guess the movie would end, so here's the gun. SHH!: Were you involved with the New York fight we saw evidence of out on the backlot? Blair: I'm standing behind my man there. I'm not involved with it. I'm just kind of cheering him on and there to hold his hand when it's all over. SHH!: You could have caused that destruction yourself.
Ford's new green-er engine isn't a hybrid
Kudos for Ford for taking the lead and rolling out a new generation of advanced gasoline engine technology. The move is fresh evidence that Detroit has more mileage boosting tricks up its sleeve than you may have guessed. The Detroit Free Press is reporting that Ford is set to unveil a new internal combustion gasoline engine that takes a big leap forward in gasoline engine efficiency. It's not some new advanced hybrid. Rather the engine combines a pair of off-the shelf technologies of the sort long called for by auto experts such as the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS). Called EcoBoost, Ford's advancement combines turbo-charging and direct fuel injection technology to achieve up to 20% better mileage. The first model to get the green treatment will be the 2009 Lincoln MKS (photo).
Similarities to other massacres - but this was a very Finnish affair
I, as a natural selector, will eliminate all who I see unfit, disgraces of human race and failures of natural selection. You might ask yourselves, why did I do this. Well, most of you are too arrogant and closed-minded to understand. I am ready to die for a cause I know is right, just and true. This is my war, my ideas and my plans. Don’t blame my parents or my friends. I told nobody about my plans and I always kept them inside my mind only. Don’t blame the movies I see, the music I hear, the games I play or the books I read. No, they had nothing to do with this. This is my war: one man war against humanity, governments and weak-minded masses of the world! HUMANITY IS OVERRATED! It’s time to put SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST back on tracks!" Pekka-Eric Auvinen on YouTube .
